Channing is your typical ladies man. Charming, sweet, and sexy as all heck. He has come to town temporarily on business and is shacking up with his childhood buddy, Amber. Channing soon finds himself in a situation that could either bring his past feelings to life or destroy their friendship forever.
Amber is recovering from a broken heart. Not looking to be burned again anytime soon, Amber decides that sex with no strings attached is exactly what she needs. Signing up for a night of passion ends up leaving her confused and with a huge decision to make. Can she handle sex without her heart getting in the way?
To be honest, I wasn't expecting this book to be as emotional for me as it was. I hate to use the expression 'it was a roller coaster of emotion' because that's what everyone says, but it really was! And I really liked the back story and the anticipation of what was to come with these two. This relationship was a long time in the making and was every bit worth the wait!
I'm never disappointed with a Ward read and I'm always guaranteed to add a new book boyfriend to my ever growing collection!
I highly Recommend this book as well as any reads by this author.
