Two words... Devastatingly beautiful.
As I sat and prepared to write my review, I realized that no other words were more fitting than those two words for me to describe how I felt about this story.
The back drop to this romance is devastating. No one on earth should experience the heartache that both of these characters have lived through. Neither one of them are truly living, but existing in a painful and agonizing darkness...
The way in which these characters are brought together, have a mutual empathy, and quickly fall into a supportive rhythm is simply beautiful. They were meant to find each other. They were meant to discover each other in the darkness...
No questions.
No judgments.
No faking it.
This author has a habit of delivering an emotional and heart wrenching journey. Let's all hope this habit is never broken. Great writing, great storyline, well written characters, and perfect pacing. Looking forward to the second book in this gripping duet.
