This book was a much different journey than what I am used to reading, This is the first time I have read a storyline that featured characters on secret missions for the government. That aspect was definitely interesting and made for quite an action packed read.

Kaleb is a Commander that is retired and now works in the private sector. He is pure Alpha and ready to go after what he wants. Jade is a Captain for the US Army. She is strong, independent, and not looking to be taken. Both of these characters are dedicated to their country and to their careers. To say they are both Badass would be an understatement. Their attraction, sexual chemistry, and passion is immediate and hot as hell!

I do need to express my dislike for the way in which these characters were introduced. I felt it was uncharacteristic given their ranks. Now having said that, their intimate scenes are sizzling and their chemistry off the charts!

Looking forward to the second installment in this series!
