The Queen of Ménage has struck again with this emotionally charged and steamy as heck stand alone. Nicole Edwards has the gift to pull you right in and take you along on the journey she has written for her characters. Nicole’s writing is smooth, easy, and always delivers an intriguing story. This book is written with a point of view from all three main characters giving you a glimpse into each of their inner struggles and roller coasters of emotions. Great characters, interesting storyline, and an epilogue that will leave you believing that the unconventional can be pure perfection.
Phoenix is a successful business man and also the owner of a
pro hockey team since the death of his father. In the past, he has
been known to indulge in the opposite sex and to also dabble with the same sex
but had recently made the decision to follow the straight and narrow path. Only
problem is that he has unwanted feelings for his long time buddy/PR man/bodyguard.
His focus shifts a bit once Mia strolls into the picture, but that doesn’t seem
to stop the pull that Tarik Marx has on him.
Tarik wears many hats in Phoenix’s life. Friend, personal
relations, bodyguard, and the man that would love nothing more than to be the
one that Phoenix gives himself to. Tarik
is protective, dominant, and patient enough to wait for Phoenix to admit his
feelings for him.
Mia is recently divorced and still feeling the burn from a
man that charmed her into believing he was her happily ever after. She has no
intension of jumping into another relationship of any kind, but a sexy jogger in
her building has her suddenly rethinking her plan. She’s very smart and somewhat
cautious, but a bit naïve when it comes to a lifestyle outside of the norm.
The coming together of these characters is unique and the
chemistry explosive. Throw in the threat of an ex-husband driven by greed and
you have a story that will keep you turning the pages all night long. I highly
recommend this read!
