Georgie
I lie to survive.
Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
DECK
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I've played her game for far too long, but not anymore. Now I think it's time we play mine.*18+ due to sexual content, strong language and violence.
4 Chaotic Stars!
My Short Intro:
Georgie loses her brother and begins a downward spiral of bad choices, defiant behavior and accepting darkness.
Deck is a man of his word and his word to Conner, Georgie’s brother, was to look after Georgie in the event that Conner didn’t make it. Well, Deck certainly lives up to that promise…at all costs.
My Thoughts:
This was my first Nashoda Rose, so I had no idea what to expect. What I got was an author that knows how to write a sexy, protective, and demanding alpha male.
This book lives up to its title, Perfect Chaos. Chaos being the perfect description of the lives that these characters lead. This book is a spinoff of the Tear Asunder series, but can be read as a standalone. Even though I didn’t feel at all lost or that I was missing anything crucial to the storyline, I wish I had read the series’ first to have even a better understanding of these characters and how they interact and operate.
This book is full of Suspense, action, tragedy, romance and a dark undertone that will give you goose bumps. The push and pull that these two experience over the years finally erupts into some of the most passionate scenes I’ve ever read.
I would recommend this read to anyone that enjoys a deep storyline, complex characters and a love story that is far from typical.
I look forward to reading more from this author.
