I was fortunate enough to be gifted an ARC copy of this book a while back from the author. I love to discover new authors, so I couldn't wait to dig in.

Well, once I started reading, I couldn't stop! I had to keep reminding myself that this was a debut release. It certainly didn't read as one.
-The writing was top notch. Smooth flow, easy to follow, and attention to detail was impeccable.
-The characters were likeable and easy to relate to. I felt the connection between the characters immediately and that made it easy to become connected to them as well.
-The plot line holds your attention with some mystery, suspense, and a splash of humor. I was thrown for a short loop a couple of times when I thought I knew what was going to happen, then I was reminded that not all books are predictable.

I highly recommend this book to everyone! A sweet romance of two guarded hearts finding themselves and finding each other. Throw in a fairytale HEA....How could you NOT read it?

*This book is listed as part of a series (Protector Series), but this book is a standalone with no cliffy.
